The St. John's IceCaps came back from a two-goal deficit to defeat the Worcester Sharks 5-4 in overtime Saturday night.
Ben Maxwell, celebrating his 25th birthday, scored the tying goal with just 53 seconds left in the last period, and notched the game-winning goal 23 seconds into overtime.
Maxwell finished the night with two goals and an assist. Will O'Neill and Aaron Gagnon each had a goal and an assist, and Jason Gregoire scored an unassisted goal in the first period.
Eddie Pasquale made 30 saves throughout the game.
The victory was the fourth in a row for the IceCaps, and the sixth win in the last seven games.
The IceCaps head back to St. John's for their final home stand of the season next weekend when they host the Toronto Marlies for a pair of games.
