Despite a stellar effort from goaltender Tyler Beskorowany, the St. John's IceCaps fell 2-1 to the East Division-leading Binghamton Senators Friday night at Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton, NY.

Beskorowany made 38 saves, but it wasn't enough as the Senators scored twice in the third to record the comeback victory.

Jason Jaffray scored the lone goal for St. John's, while Matt Puempel and Shane Prince had goals for Binghamton. Andrew Hammond stopped 40-of-41 shots for the win.
The IceCaps travel to Hershey on Saturday to face the Bears in the final game of a six-game road trip that has seen the club post a 3-2-0-0 record to date.
