A single vehicle collision near Happy Valley-Goose Bay Saturday killed one man and sent another man to hospital.
The accident happened shortly before noon, east of the Churchill River Bridge on Highway 510.
RCMP said it appears the driver lost control of his pickup truck while taking a turn.
The driver, 33, from Mary's Harbour, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The passenger, 34, was taken by helicopter to the Labrador Grenfell Health Centre with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Police said the cause of the crash is still unknown and the investigation is ongoing.
