Guilty plea expected in taxi robbery
A St. John's woman says she will plead guilty to serious charges connected to the robbery this fall of a taxi.
Nicole Young, 28, is accused of jumping into a cab on Barter's Hill Place in downtown St. John's in September.
Young is accused of backing over the cab driver and another man, who received serious head injuries.
Provincial court in St. John's was told Tuesday that Young will be pleading guilty to two counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm, theft of the taxi, and other charges.
Young is scheduled to appear in court again on Dec. 10.
