A provincial court judge has concluded there is enough evidence to send a Labrador man to trial on a first-degree murder charge.

Gordon Milley is accused of killing Bernice Rich in Sheshatshiu last June.

The provincial court in Happy Valley-Goose Bay has concluded a preliminary inquiry, and is sending the case to Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Rich's body was found in a wooded area in Sheshatshiu. She was 21.

A judge and jury will hear Milley’s trial in Supreme Court. He faces six charges in all, including sexual assault and breaching court orders to stay out of Sheshatshiu
