The cost of driving dropped for the fourth consecutive week in Newfoundland and Labrador, although many consumers may not notice much when they look at their receipt.
The Public Utilities Board dropped the limit on maximum gas prices by half a cent per litre, although in some areas the drop may be just 0.4 cents per litre, because of rounding for taxes in different pricing regions.
Over the last month, gas prices have dropped about 6.2 cents through small, consecutive price changes.
Thursday's weekly setting means that a litre of self-serve unleaded gas on the Avalon Peninsula is now $1.363 per litre.
There was no change for the cost of diesel in Newfoundland, although in Labrador, the price rose by 0.3 cents per litre.
