Fuel spill on Trans-Canada Highway
A section of the Trans-Canada Highway was reduced to one lane on Friday night after a diesel fuel spill.
Clean-up crews attended the site of the spill near Middle Gull Pond, which is located about 40 minutes west of St. John's.
The RCMP said traffic had to be reduced to one lane, in order for the clean-up to be properly completed.
It is not yet known what caused the spill, or how much fuel was on the road..
