The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is planning another search for Joshua Miller.

The 20-year-old St. John's man went missing in early February. He was wearing only a T-shirt and pants when he was last seen in the area of Stavanger Drive, in the city's east end.

Several intensive ground searches over the winter failed to turn up anything.

RNC Const. Suzanne Fitzgerald said searchers may have more success now that most of the snow in the area has melted.

"Essentially right now, the emergency management and ground search and rescue sergeants are working with the major crime unit, as well as the missing persons co-ordinator, and they're looking really at expanding the search ... but it is going to be dependent on the weather. So if we have inclement weather over the next couple of days, that may deter or delay that search," Fitzgerald said.

The Constabulary hopes to conduct the new search within the next week.
