Pizza party! St. John's woman wins free pizza for a year

Emily O'Keefe picked up her slice of happiness on Friday - in the form of 104 free pizza vouchers. That's two a week for the next year.

'I've reached my ultimate happiness'

Winning free pizza for a year is the 'ultimate happiness' for 20-year-old Emily O'Keefe who collected her winnings Friday.

She received 104 vouchers, enough for two pizzas a week over the next year.

"I'm going to progressively get a little bit rounder as each month goes by and I'm probably not going to buy groceries for the rest of the year, which is going to be incredible," said O'Keefe.

"I'll put some veggies on my pizza."

O'Keefe won the pizzas through a contest held by Dominos Pizza on its Facebook page to promote the opening of a new store on Blackmarsh Rd in St. John's. Once the page reached 15,000 likes, a winner was chosen at random.

O'Keefe said she shared the contest more than 50 times on Facebook and was very excited when she found out she had won.

"I've described it as the happiest I've ever felt and that I no longer need to get married because I've reached my ultimate happiness," she said.

O'Keefe, a student who holds down a job at Starbucks, said it'll be a year filled with pizza and she'll share with family, friends and co-workers.
