The trial for a woman from Canning's Cove charged with 49 counts of fraud is set to resume in March.
Lucy Chatman, 49, is accused of stealing $30,000 over a two-year period from a convenience store where she was employed.
It's alleged that Chatman was fraudulently creating and endorsing postal money orders.
None of the money has since been recovered.
Rob Barnes, the owner of the store, closed down his business almost two years ago.
Barnes said the actual amount of money that disappeared was $80,000.
Barnes said the whole situation put him out of business.
The Crown withdrew a charge of theft over $5,000 related to missing Nevada pull tab lottery tickets when it couldn't prove what happened to them.
Chatman's trial started last year, but was postponed when new evidence was discovered.
Trial will resume in March in Clarenville.
