A former teacher in central Newfoundland faces a new charge involving a minor.
Jody Hale, 40, is already scheduled for a trial in Grand Falls-Windsor in mid-April, on previous charges of internet luring involving a minor.
Hale was teaching at a school in Cottrell's Cove when he was first charged in June 2012. He has pleaded not guilty in that case.
Now, he's facing an additional charge of child luring, involving a girl under the age of 16.
RCMP allege Hale communicated with the girl by means of a computer system between January and June of 2009.
Hale will return to court on May 15 to answer to the new charge.
