Firearms incidents in St. John's
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is investigating two unrelated cases involving firearms in St. John's on Saturday night.
Police responded to a call from a resident in the central part of the city. It's alleged that a firearm was fired at the person's home.
The residence was damaged, but the type of firearm is unknown at this time.
Meanwhile, police were called to the downtown area on another similar call.
RNC officers discovered that shots were fired from a shotgun at a home, also causing damage.
Both matters are currently under investigation.
