Facebook messages lead to charges against teen
Police in central Newfoundland have laid a criminal charge against a teenager accused of using Facebook to threaten someone else.
RCMP in Grand Falls-Windsor said a boy, 15, was arrested last week after the father of another boy, 16, filed a complaint.
Police said the charge relates to messages that the accused is believed to have sent over the popular social network. Details about the alleged threats were not released.
The teen is scheduled to appear in youth court at a later date.
