Elijah George convicted of sexually assaulting nurse
21-year-old Elijah George has been convicted of sexually assaulting a nurse on the psychiatric ward at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John's.
George, who was a patient on the ward in May 2013, rubbed himself up against the nurse.
On Friday, the court sentenced him to time served and a year's probation. George had been in custody since the incident occurred.
He was also found guilty of assaulting a nurse, and was given a suspended sentence.
George was found not guilty of voyeurism.
It is alleged he looked under a bathroom stall while a woman was in there.
