Eastern Health CEO search almost complete

Eastern Health, the largest health authority in Newfoundland and Labrador, should have a new boss in place soon.

Eastern Health, the largest health authority in Newfoundland and Labrador, should have a new boss in place soon.

Vickie Kaminski stepped down as Eastern Health's chief executive officer in April, after she accepted the job of president and CEO of Alberta Health Services. 

Last spring, officials hoped to find a permanent replacement for Kaminski within four months. 

The authority said that the search is almost complete. 

Don Keats has been serving as interim CEO at Eastern Health since Kaminski left.
