A young man in western Newfoundland is facing charges of impaired driving after he drove his all-terrain vehicle into a house.
RCMP in Stephenville responded after a quad slammed into a house on Queen Street early Sunday afternoon.
"The operator of the quad did not receive any injuries, however there was considerable property damage to the residence," RCMP said in a statement.
The driver, 22, was held in police custody until he sobered up. Police noted that he failed a breathalyzer test.
He has been ordered to report to provincial court at a later date.
