Two people are in police custody following a drug bust on the Burin Peninsula.
On Tuesday, RCMP executed a search warrant at a home on Ville Marie Drive, Marystown.
Police seized approximately 50 grams of cocaine and about half a kilogram of marijuana.
Officers also found a quantity of cash as well as electronic devices.
A 33-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman, both from Marystown, were arrested and now face charges that include possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.
The pair will remain in custody until a bail hearing in Grand Bank provincial court on Feb. 16.
