Driver arrested after car almost hits house
A male driver was arrested in St. John's on Saturday after a citizen reported that they had seen a car drive up over a bank and almost hit a home.
According to the report, the car came close to hitting a house on Pine Bud Avenue.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said the man, 40, was charged with impaired driving and refusing the breathalyzer.
He was detained to make a court appearance Sunday morning.
