It appears that impaired driving does not have an age barrier, an incident in St. John's on Sunday night suggests.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said a member of the public reported seeing an erratic driver.
When an officer pulled over the car, the driver refused to give a breath sample. The driver told the officer he was 90 years old and that he wasn't going to do it.
The man faces charges of impaired driving and of refusing a breathalyzer. He was released and will appear in provincial court at a later date.
