Disturbance in St. John's sends woman to overnight lockup
A woman spent Saturday night in the lockup in St. John's after the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to a disturbance in the Kenmount Terrace area.
Police responded shortly after 11 p.m. to the incident.
They found a man suffering from a non-life threatening head injury.
He was taken to hospital for treatment.
The RNC arrested the woman at the scene for assault with a weapon.
She was set to make a court appearance Sunday morning.
