Disruptive passengers removed from plane in St. John's
Police were called to St. John's International Airport Thursday afternoon to deal with two passengers who were causing a disturbance.
The crew on a flight headed to St. John's had to call the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary to the airport around 3:30 p.m.
Staff on the flight reported two women were causing a disturbance on board.
The RNC did not specify which flight they were on.
Officers arrested the two residents of Montreal, who were then charged with mischief and violating the Aeronautics Act.
The two were held in custody for a court appearance on Friday.
