A 53-year-old Deer Park man is scheduled to make an appearance in court on Sunday, following some erratic driving on the Salmonier Line.

The RCMP received a number of tips from the public on Saturday about the man's driving on Route 90.

One concerned citizen was able to stop the driver and convince him to stay until police arrived.

He has been charged with one count of impaired driving and refusing the breathalyzer.

The accused also faces two breaches of recognizance.

Police said the man is presently before the courts for impaired driving charges from January.
