Crew member airlifted from ship on Grand Banks
A Canadian Forces helicopter brought a crew member in distress from the Grand Banks to St. John's on Tuesday night.
The Joint Rescue Co-ordination Centre in Halifax said the man had been experiencing chest pains.
A Cormorant helicopter from the 103 search and rescue squadron in Gander was sent to airlift the man.
He was flown to the Health Sciences Centre in St. John's around 7 p.m.
There was no word on his condition.
