The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary arrested a 36-year-old Corner Brook woman early Wednesday on a number of charges, including uttering death threats.

Police said the incident started around 12:15 a.m. at a bar on Caribou Road.

Officers who responded said the suspect was disorderly inside the establishment, and had allegedly threatened to kill a 35-year-old man at the bar.

The woman then left.

A short time later, the RNC received a complaint that the same woman had allegedly threatened to kill a man outside a residence on Curling Street.

The accused was located and arrested without incident.

The woman has been charged with several crimes, including two counts of uttering death threats and threats to cause property damage.

She was held in custody to appear in court on Wednesday.
