An airline charter company in Happy Valley-Goose Bay has its plane back after RCMP seized it in connection with an investigation.

The single otter aircraft dropped off a number of caribou carcasses in Sheshatshiu last week.

It's believed the animals were part of the George River herd, and that they were killed in violation of the province's five-year hunting ban.

Big Land Aviation’s owners, Clarence Froude and Albert Michelin, said no one has talked to the company about the investigation.
