Break-ins, theft on same St. John's street
RNC say break-ins occurred to the same house
Police are investigating three incidents that took place on the same street in St. John's, over a three-week period in April.
A home on Suvla Street in the centre of the city was broken into on April 1. The house was damaged, but police said it appeared that nothing was taken.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary believe the same person is responsible for a second break-in at the same house two weeks later on April 14.
Then on Friday, a number of items — including two rifles — were stolen from a truck on Suvla Street.
The guns are described as a Remington Rifle in a camouflage case and a Daisy lever action BB gun.
Police are not saying if this latest incident is related to the home break-ins.
The RNC is asking anyone with information about any of the three crimes to contact them.
