A senior citizen was arrested Thursday after a bizarre incident on a Metrobus in downtown St. John's.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said a man threatened the bus driver and passengers with a box-cutter during an incident around 4 p.m.
A suspect, 70, was later arrested on charges that include uttering threats and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.
The man, who also faces charges of breaching court orders, was taken into custody.
No one was injured in the incident.
