Police in central Newfoundland are shaking their heads after stopping a drunk driver on Thursday morning, just as school buses were finishing their runs.
RCMP said the driver, 66, blew three times the legal limit.
Police said they saw a car swerving all over a highway around 9 a.m.
"At this hour of the morning, kids are going back and forth to school, people are on the roads going to work, there were a number of commuters on the road, there was lots of traffic in the area," said Const. Ian Dollimount.
"Anyone out drinking and driving at this hour of the morning, at these levels, is very, very concerning to the RCMP."
The man faces numerous charges, including impaired driving. He was released to appear in court at a later date.
