Battery parking lot plan upsets neighbours

Residents in one of the oldest parts of St. John's are upset about plans for a bed and breakfast in the neighbourhood.

Residents in one of the oldest parts of St. John's have issues with a proposed bed and breakfast.

City council has received an application to build a parking lot for a B&B on Cabot Avenue near Signal Hill.

However, people who live in the area said there's not enough room to accommodate the business.

People opposed to the lot have already sent three petitions to city hall.

Council is expected to make a decision on the application Tuesday evening.
