Bail granted to man accused in St. John's slaying
Accused murderer Lyndon Butler has been granted bail.
The 22-year-old is one of two men accused of killing Nick Winsor on Portugal Cove Road in St. John's last July.
In court yesterday, Butler's mother agreed to put up a $25,000 surety.
As part of his bail conditions, Butler has to live with his mother in Paradise and abide by a 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. curfew.
He must also stay out of St. John's except to go to school or work and report to the RNC three times a week.
If Butler breaches any of the conditions, his mother could lose the $25,000.
