ATV driver charged in St. John's
A 25-year-old man was charged with multiple offences, after operating an ATV during peak traffic in a busy section of St. John's on Friday afternoon.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary pulled over the man in the area of Pippy Place and Kenmount Road around 4:15 p.m.
He was charged with driving while prohibited, and issued tickets under the Highway Traffic Act.
Police said he also had $25,000 in outstanding fines.
The man was released to appear in court at a later date.
