Police believe they have nabbed an arsonist on Newfoundland's west coast.
The RCMP arrested a man, 21, after what the force described as "a lengthy investigation into numerous fires" in the Bay St. George area.
RCMP believe that the suspect set at least 10 fires in the area over the last year.
One of the fires destroyed an outdoor stage and about $80,000 worth of equipment for the annual festival in St. George's.
The fires were also lit at vehicles, sheds and one house.
The suspect is facing 10 counts of arson, as well as two counts of break and entry.
The suspect was arrested at his home in St. George's. He is being held in Stephenville for an appearance at provincial court.
