Arrests made in liquor & cigarettes theft in Grand Bank
Police said 'large quantity' of liquor and cigarettes were stolen
Burin Peninsula RCMP have arrested three people in connection to a break and enter on Thursday at a business in Grand Bank.
Police said a large quantity of liquor and cigarettes were stolen.
Early on Friday, officers executed a search warrant at a residence in Grand Bank, and recovered some of the stolen goods.
A 30-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man were arrested and released from custody, while a 29-year-old man was taken into custody until next Wednesday for a bail hearing.
Charges include possession of stolen property, breach of release conditions and uttering threats.
Police said the investigation continues and further charges are possible.
