Royal Newfoundland Constabulary officers have arrested four people in connection with a string of thefts from vehicles in Corner Brook.

Police responded around 1:30 Friday morning to a report of individuals who were checking vehicles in the area of Coronation Street.

Upon arrival, officers located and arrested three males and a female in relation to the thefts.

A quantity of stolen items was recovered, and the RNC is trying to identify and contact the owners of the goods.

Police said they recovered about 60 items.

A male resident, 17, of Corner Brook was detained at the RCMP cells in Deer Lake and charged with failing to comply with the conditions of a court order. He is scheduled to appear in provincial court on Friday.

The RNC said subsequent charges are anticipated.
