Arrest made in St. John's over social media death threats

A 33-year-old man has been arrested in St. John's, for allegedly uttering death threats over social media.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested in St. John's for allegedly uttering death threats over social media. 

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to a complaint at a residence in Kilbride Friday around 1:20 p.m. 

According to police, the complainant and the suspect are known to each other. 

Police arrested the man outside the Avalon Mall Friday.

He was held over to appear in court on Saturday morning.
