CBC's St. John's Morning Show host Anthony Germain was off to Haiti early Saturday morning, joining a team of medical professionals from Newfoundland and Labrador who will be volunteering their skills.

Germain, along with camera operator Keith Burgess, joined up with Team Broken Earth, an organization of medical professionals from across Canada who volunteer their time to do charity medical work to improve healthcare in Haiti.

The group left St. John's early Saturday morning.

Here and Now host Jonathan Crowe caught up with Germain on Friday to chat about what he's hoping to capture during his time in Haiti.
