The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary arrested and charged a fourth person in connection with the murder of Nick Winsor in 2011.

Members of the RNC Major Crime Unit arrested a Conception Bay South woman, 24, for her involvement in the July 9 homicide.

She was arrested without incident and is set to appear in provincial court Wednesday morning to face charges of accessory after the fact to Winsor's murder.

On July 9, 2011, RNC officers responded to a report of a disturbance between several adult males at a property on Portugal Cove Road.

Police found Winsor, 20, who had injuries consistent with a gunshot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Philip Pynn and Lyndon Butler are both charged with second-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of Winsor.

Pynn and Butler are slated to go to trial in September 2014.

Jonathan Rowe is accused of helping Pynn escape, but he said he simply brought legal counsel to Pynn following the incident.

Rowe pleaded not guilty to the charge, and is set to go to trial in November 2014.

The RNC said the police investigation is ongoing.
