Three young adults in the St. John's area have been granted bail in a case that also involves two Ontario men accused of selling cocaine to an undercover Mountie.

Fredrick Baker, 25, of St. John's and Mount Pearl residents Stephanie Constance Raymond, 20, and Mellisa Linda Pennell, 21, are expected to appear in court on May 4 on charges of conspiracy to traffic in cocaine.

The three were charged in an investigation that involved two Ontario men who remain in custody in St. John's.

Hamid Soleimani-Pak, 18, and Raymond Kolonga, 23, are accused of selling cocaine to someone who happened to be an undercover RCMP officer.

Police valued the drugs involved in the bust at  "tens of thousands of dollars."
