2 western N.L. men charged with impersonating police officers
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary in Corner Brook has charged two men from western Newfoundland with impersonating police officers.
On Tuesday, RNC officers with assistance from the RCMP, charged a 34-year-old man from Corner Brook and a 25-year-old man from Deer Lake.
It's alleged the men represented themselves as peace officers through the use of uniforms, vehicle signage and equipment.
All items were seized by police without incident.
The men are scheduled to appear in provincial court on June 10.
