2 teens arrested for break and enter in Trinity-Conception

RCMP have arrested two teenagers in connection with a break and enter in Carbonear on Saturday.

RCMP in Trinity-Conception have arrested two teenagers in connection with a break and enter in the area.

Police say around 4:30 Saturday afternoon, they received a report of a break and enter in progress at a residence in Carbonear.

Officers responded to the area of Water Street where they arrested two suspects.

The duo were in possession of items taken from the residence.

A 13-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl were charged with break and enter and possession of stolen property.

The boy was held in custody to appear in court Sunday, while the girl was released to appear in court at a later date.
