One of St. John's most famous parks is celebrating its 100-year anniversary this weekend — and CBC wants you to share your fondest memories of time spent at the site.

Bowring Park was officially opened in St. John's 1915, and has been maintained as one of the city's best-loved in-town escapes.

Whether it's a day of sitting in the sun near the Waterford River, or spending some time walking the South Brook Trail, CBC Newfoundland and Labrador wants to hear your favourite memories of Bowring Park.

We're asking you to tweet us your favourite memories using #bowringnotboring for our compilation of what Bowring Park means to you and yours.

Send us your stories and photos for a feature we're setting up on the centennial.
