A couple in Lincoln have installed 20,000 lights that are programmed to flash to the beat of different holiday tunes.

Dany and Catherine Falle’s massive holiday display contains 20,000 lights, which is 5,000 more than last year.

In order to bring the display to life, the couple rolled out more than 914 metres of extension cords and used 40,000 zip ties to place the lights on their property.

The lights are programmed in sequences to go with the beat of holiday music.

But the Christmas display is designed not to offend any their neighbours.

To keep the display quiet, the music can be tuned in on the car radio of spectators.

The entire show lasts 45 minutes.
