Codiac RCMP are asking for the public's help locating a suspect in connection with an early morning armed robbery of a Dieppe gas station on Monday.

A man entered the Ultramar at 157 Champlain St. at about 1 a.m., threatened the male employee and demanded money, Const. Damien Thériault stated in a release.

No weapon was shown and no one was injured, he said.

The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money and police dogs followed a track, but were unable to locate the man, said Thériault.

The man is described as being Caucasian, about five feet six inches tall, with a slim build, dark hair and a beard of a few days of growth.

He was wearing a dark jacket, blue jeans and a white tuque.
