Kathleen Arsenault, 59, was found dead in her Saumarez home on Tuesday. (CBC)A woman found dead in her home in Saumarez earlier this week was murdered, according to the RCMP's major crime unit and the Acadian Peninsula RCMP.
Kathleen Arseneault, 59, of Saumarez, was found dead when police arrived at her residence on Tuesday morning.
A family member had reported to police that Arseneault had failed to report to work.
Police believe this to be an isolated incident and have a suspect.
At this point no charges have been laid.
Saumarez is near Tracadie-Sheila in northeastern New Brunswick.
