Man injured in alleged attack walked door-to-door in Glen Falls asking for help

It took Saint John police 12 hours to identify a seriously injured man, who was allegedly assaulted in the Glen Falls neighbourhood Tuesday night. (CBC)Saint John Police have arrested three teens in connection with an assualt that left a seriously injured man knocking on doors and seeking help in the Glen Falls neighbourhood.
One 17-year-old and two 18-year-old males from Saint John are facing charges of robbery with violence and aggravated assualt and will appear Thursday afternoon to answer to the charges.
Officers responded to a medical assistance call to the city's east-side on Tuesday at approximately 10:20 p.m., when they found the man on Broadway Avenue. Police believe he was attacked with a weapon on Glen Road.
Saint John Police Sgt. Jay Henderson said in a statement the victim wasn't carrying any identification and required immediate medical treatment in hospital. As a result, he said it took police 12 hours to positively identify the victim.
The man is in serious condition at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Members of city patrol, forensic identification services, and the criminal investigative division are assisting in the investigation.
