Two men were sentenced for a violent home robbery in Upper Rexton. (Kate Letterick/CBC)Two men were sentenced on Monday in Moncton provincial court for a violent robbery at a home in Upper Rexton last year.
A 36-year-old man was stabbed, while a 43-year-old woman and a 13-year-old girl were assaulted during the robbery on March 16.
Alexander Peters, 26, was sentenced to nine years in prison for his role in the incident, as well as another robbery at the same residence in January 2012, and an assault at a correctional centre in Shediac in November.
Nicholas Francis Ward, 28, was sentenced to seven years in prison.
