Police investigate armed robbery in Moncton

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store in Moncton early Monday morning.
RCMP said they responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Needs convenience store on Elmwood drive at about 3:40 a.m. on Monday.
The suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register.
Police say they believe the man was armed with a handgun.
The suspect is described as being about six feet tall, of average build, wearing a camouflage jacket and pants and a dark hat. His face was covered with a dark bandana.
Police are asking anyone who has information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
