A Saint John man is facing charges in connection with a home invasion that resulted in a death after he was arrested on a warrant in Halifax over the weekend.

Bradley Neil Saia, 21, had been on the lam since the Nov. 3 incident on the city's west side.

He will be charged with forcible entry, robbery and being masked while committing an indictable offence, Sgt. Jay Henderson stated in a release.

Police responded to a residence on Prince Street West at about 4:30 a.m.

Officers found two stabbing victims, including an 18-year-old male, Andrew Jonathan (AJ) Dennison, who subsequently died.

Saia is the fourth person charged in the incident.

His twin brother, Brandon Saia, 21, has pleaded not guilty to stealing personal property, forcible entry and wearing a face mask with the intent to commit an indictable offence.

Ronald McCutcheon, 20, who was released by mistake from the Saint John jail, has been charged with robbery and has elected to be tried by judge and jury.

A 16-year-old, who was arrested on a warrant in Moncton on Nov. 15, is facing charges of wearing a mask while committing an indictable offence, robbery and forcible entry. The youth cannot be named in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Christopher Reid, 21, who lived in the home and was the second stabbing victim, is also facing charges in the incident. He has elected to be tried by judge and jury on a charge of possession of a knife.
