A heavy equipment mechanic was killed in a workplace accident in Kedgwick River on Monday. (Google)WorkSafeNB is investigating a fatal accident after a man was killed while working on a vehicle on Monday at a garage in Kedgwick River.
A 60-year-old heavy equipment mechanic was the victim of the workplace accident.
The investigation will focus on how the accident could have been prevented and if there were any violations of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, according to WorkSafeNB.
Areas under investigation will include safe working procedures, use of tools and worker training.
