Two people in New Brunswick are homeless after a fire destroyed the home they were renting.
The couple was not home when the blaze broke out Thursday on Beaulieu Road in Grand Falls.
Three pets, however, died in the fire.
Dan Bedell, Atlantic communications director for the Canadian Red Cross, said in a news release that the couple is staying with their daughter.
There is no word on the cause of the blaze.
